Automated tank cleaning

Cleaning and disinfection of the well-boats is a very important measure to provide fish a good environment and prevent the spread of infection. The requirements are high and it makes the work difficult, because the boats are often in service when it should be washed.

Main challenges related to cleaning and disinfection of well boats are:

- The work is labor-intensive, with limited personnel to perform work operations.
- Båtene technical design hampers adequate cleaning.
- Safety for personnel who perform work operations.
- Increased vessel sizes allow larger surfaces and systems to be treated.
- Costly chemicals and disinfectants.
- Requirements for cleaning and disinfection, as well as documentation, accelerates.

Redox AS has in cooperation with the central shipping and ship building plants developed an automatic washing system that takes into account these challenges.

The automated system will result in the washing procedure is a little labor intensive, the person is independent and will reduce the adverse environmental impact, personnel are exposed to the frequent contact with cleaning means.

A simplified description of the washing system:
Centrally mounted nozzles ensures distribution of soap in the well, perforated ducts and rear gratings. Then flushed large amounts of seawater from a separate system. These processes are made with both high pressure and low pressure.

The wells are divided into sections, and the system can be designed so that each section starts automatically when the previous one is finished. All processes logged automatically and will display the time for starting and stopping, which areas are covered, the consumption of soap and water and soap concentration.

For disinfection with chemicals used system in a similar way and disinfection can therefore be fully automated with logging.

All data is stored in the system log (Total log) and can be printed or sent by. mail directly from the boat.

The entire process is controlled and monitored from a user-friendly touch screen which is installed on the bridge, or in the control room.

To wash the system is used only recognized components that can withstand heavy loads over time and that the tests have been shown to give the best results.

Description Redoxzon Pipecleaning

Redoxzon Pipecleaning are now integrated into Redoxzon Tank Cleaning System.
The system is a specially designed tåkedysesystem for såpepålegging piped aboard wellboat. Boat piping systems are divided into zones. Circulationpipes, Skimmer/CO2 offloading pipe, exhaust gas stack to port and starboard.
Soap made of fog that adds soap mixture and air in a carefully controlled form.
Mixing Soap and compressed air supplied to the zones through the valve stations with separate valves for each zone.

How it works

The aim is to produce a soap mist in a controlled and dosed form that can be put into pipes. It is important to the proper consistency of the fog to get the best soap film inside the pipes. We have after much research and testing has developed a special nossle to this.

Mixing
Soap and water are exactly involved in a separate designed dosing system. From there the soap mixture through a high pressure system that increases the pressure to 80 bar. The mix goes for the valve to distributions which can be chosen which zone should be soaped.

Supply
In the circulation pipes and front discharge pipes are fitted with custom nossles distance. The fittings that are screwed into the pipes, there are two inlets. When you open a valve in the soap valve center goes soap mixture to nossles with 80 bar pressure. In the fitting is a pressure reduction tank that takes the pressure, and where it is added at the same time large amounts of compressed air.
Air and water mixture then passes through a nozzle that creates fog

The pressure causes the fog many yards through the pipes. It is mounted several such supply points on each tube so that they overlap each other and the fog will go completely through the pipes and out.

Management and logging
The system is controlled and logged by an operator panel in the wheelhouse. Where you choose which zone to be treated, how long and what soap concentration fog should have.

Pipecleaning is logged and can be printed in the paper reports, are stored on disk or sent by mail.
