Oxygen Regulation

Oxygen is not only one of the most important environmental parameter for the fish's well-being, but is also essential that the fish will live.
Stable oxygen level is crucial for both survival and that the fish arrive at the production plant without the stress factors have influenced it.

Oxygen obtained from oxygen cylinders or from the oxygen generator which produces oxygen for delivery to the ozone generator.

It is very important that the fish gets a steady oxygen level, and here are using Redox AS a patented solution, from our sister company Weltec AS.

Normally, the oxygen "batchet" into the water which can often cause uneven oxygen levels.

Redox AS uses a technology in which the valve is connected to the sensor that measures the oxygen level, and with specially developed software is valve controlled so as to constantly regulate oxygen in relation to consumption. Thus the fish the right amount of oxygen and do not have to be influenced negatively by subsequent stress due to large fluctuations in oxygen levels.

All data from the oxygen regulation is logged and stored so that it can documented how the fish has been on the tour.

Redox AS use sensors from Aanderaa Data Instruments AS and WTW. Stable optical oxygen sensors, which have much time between each calibration. It is a great advantage in a hectic day, when demands on accuracy and stability is top priority.
